The human mind is a creative process which we experience as a seemingly endless
flow of sensations and images, feelings and emotions, thoughts and words.
Sometimes this creative process will manifest as a single word such as, for example, the word "love", and sometimes it will give rise to a whole sequence of words such as, for example, "I am that love which is the power to transmute discord into harmony through forgiveness".
It thus becomes clear that the human mind is a creative process which is capable of organizing relatively meaningless fragments of experience into complex patterns which are so meaningful that we make the conscious choice to remember them, collect them, and value them as priceless treasure for the wisdom they are able to convey.
Other times the creative process takes the form of a sequence of spontaneous images that we call a dream, which may seem to make no sense and is soon forgotten.
Some people make the choice to entertain their minds by passively watching the mental creations which have been produced by other people such as, for example, a newscast on television that is laced with propaganda or a movie at the local theater that conveys a particular message by means of a vicarious experience.
Other people make the more empowering choice to exercise their minds by actively producing their own original mental creations
such as, for example, this essay, which they may or may not share with others.
However, the most empowering choice that one can make is the choice to relax one's mind and to open one's heart so as to allow
the spontaneous feelings of forgiving love to flow forth from the source of one's being, which is beyond all words and beyond all
This is the choice to awaken from the wondrous world of illusion so as to remember who we really are.
This is the path that leads to enlightenment and mastery.
This is the way to enter what has been called the kingdom of heaven and to claim for oneself the reality of eternal life.
